A hands-on cleanup, adjustment, and return-to-service package for an older FDM printer that has been sitting, is dirty, or no longer prints reliably.
What’s included
- Full hand cleaning and removal of dust, debris, and old filament
- Frame, gantry, wheel, belt, and fastener checks
- Appropriate lubrication
- Filament-path and nozzle inspection
- Manual bed leveling for printers without automatic leveling
- Z-offset and adhesion correction
- Build-plate cleaning and inexpensive surface preparation or tape when appropriate
- Calibration and test print
Simple maintenance-part installation is included when the part is purchased from Sparks & Spools. Parts are additional. If the printer is not economical to restore, we will explain why before additional work is approved.
Sparks & Spools works only on consumer FDM printers. We do not service resin, UV, or laser machines. We do not solder or create or modify wiring, and we use vendor-approved replacement parts.
